ALLIGATOR GROUP HUNT!   We started our Florida alligator hunting trip at daylight. There was four of us and we all were eager to get at a gator. As soon as we went around the first corner there was a gator head out about 60 yards. Our gator guide said your up to our group chosen first to go and he cast a perfect treble hook just behind the head of the alligator. The fight was on. It was like catching a giant shark. It was about 5 minutes of fighting and tag up to another hunter for 5 minutes and tag up again. We gaged up on this alligator for about 45 minutes until we got the gator close enough to take a bang stick shot at him. Our gator guide takes or chosen one and bang to the head as gator skull explodes, one 9 footer down. Off to find a second alligator. It was a little over two hours before the second alligator was spotted on a bank sunning its self. Our second pick gator hunter was up. Both our guide and chosen one craw on there bellies to sneak up on a 10 footer. A few seconds later bang and its a hit with the gator sliding in the lake. We all run over and cast out our treble hooks on a bubble trail. Our gator guide hooked the gator and passed the pole to our hunter. The gator was still fighting despite a big hole out of its skull. We dragged it up to shore and our gator guide jumped on the gators back and got our hunter on its back with him and had Frank our uncle cut its spine with a giant horn handle knife.    Two more to go. After a lunch break and a little rest off to the hunt again. We all was blind casting when all of a sudden two gators on at the same time. Wow, fight trade out, fight trade out. After trading off the pole several times in comes the gators for our first looks.  There both shooters says our gator guide. Paul your choice first, then bag goes the bang stick, then bag goes the gator guide pistol. Another 10 footer and an 8 foot gator.    What a hunt with four hunters getting four alligators. All I can say is I'm glad we chose the right outfitter.
